The President of the Transitional Military Council Receives an Official Invitation to Participate in the Islamic Summit in Makkah

 Khartoum - The President of the Transitional Military Council Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has received of an official invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to participate in the work of the fourteenth session of the Conference of the Islamic Summit to be held on 26 and 27 of this Ramadan in Mecca. The invitation was handed at the Republican Palace on Sunday afternoon by Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Sudan, Ambassador Ali Hassan Jaafar.

 The Saudi ambassador said in a press statement that the transfer to Burhan to the Sudanese people the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

 He explained that the goal of the summit is to strengthen solidarity among Islamic countries and discuss issues of concern to the Islamic nation..
